@abock33 ok thanx. yeah thats what i was thinking is that both have benefits. longer wheelbase might highcenter easier too sometimes

Great video! Would like to see more congruency in the edits......just for a reference point of view. Overall nice job!!! Can't wait to make some of my own videos there!! (working on a CJ looooong way to go.)

@7PinkFloyd7 JK is just the new call letters for the 2007-current year Jeep Wrangler. Just like the TJ YJ and CJ. They all are for a different year range. I don't know why but Chrysler decided to put the J first for these models. The changing of the Letters also marks a major change to the body style and such.

@7PinkFloyd7 A 2 door is just as capable as a 4 door. I know people who own a2 doors that run with the 4 doors. There's always a situation where the longer wheel base helps out but there are times when it can hurt too.

do you think a 2 door jeep coulda done that even though it is shorter in length?

  9. Jun 23, 2010 at 11:23 AM by 7PinkFloyd7

what does the JK stand for? could someone explain? thanx

Some great driving there, way to get after it in your RUBIJK. Nice color too, but i'm partial. :D

@hansensm1 Agreed. Stock wheels are what 17s? Only size BFG makes in the KM2 for a 17" wheel is the 35x12.50x17. No way are those tires 12.50" wide. 32s at best. Regardless, I'm jealous of this guy...gets to live in Utah and wheel Moab. :(

@teto191919 you generally want a bumper wide enough for a winch, and the bull bar or whatever you wanna call it will deff save your radiator in a end over end roll..thats all i really know about it. if there are any other reasons, theyre new to me.

  17. Feb 9, 2010 at 12:25 PM by teto191919

what is the point of having the front bumper stick out? thanks

Great video & looks like you had a ton of fun, thanks for sharing with us, I think you did a great job at driving the trails, just that some dh's on here can't see the forest for the trees

The hill labeled as Yellow Hill is actually Axle hill. Yellow hill is the last big climb right after the rock pile. The dirt toward the top was really yellow for a long time, hence the name, although these days it is a little faded out. Kudos on hitting some tough trails! That is probably more than I would have done with a Jeep like yours :-)

good drivin! Makes me wanna get my Jeep there...

hansensm1, you obviously dont know much about your Jeep or JK's in general. 3" lift will easily clear 35" tires. JK's have a high line style hood that gives them a ton of room for tires.
